If you haven't heard, we have had a few new additions to the Farm in the last month or so. Our very newest additions are two baby goats - a little boy and a little girl. Check out our Kid's Page for photos. And put on your thinking caps - we are have a naming contest for these two little ones. Email us at info@calypsofarm.org by May 15th to take part in the naming contest.

Our Calypso Farm Girls have been working hard this year. We have now added a Kid's Page to our website. Clicking here will get you there! This page will be from a Kid's-eye view!

We will be updating it ever other month - adding new photos, fun activities, contests, poetry, stories, recipes, and points to ponder. The Girls will be working on their garden plan and we will let you know how their garden grows.

So if you are a kid - What kind of vegetable would you be and why? Send us an email with your answer, name, and age and we will post them as space allows.

I hope you enjoy our new page - Addie and Elsa

Mark your calendars!

Volunteers

We are just getting started with our Spring Field Trips. If anyone would like to help out please let us know. These field trips are typically from 10 to noon Monday through Friday until May 16th. Then we get into our Summer Field Trip season. And we always welcome volunteers during these.

We are starting to work in the fields here at Calypso and are going to have a few work days at our Schoolyard Gardens at Hunter and Woodriver, so if you have want to get your hands dirty, give us a call.

Work on the Resource Center is continuing. The wiring is finished and we will be hanging dry wall, taping and mudding, painting, installing flooring, etc. If you would like to help please give Tom a call.

Thanks!
