It was great to see so many new and familiar faces this weekend at the 16th Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction! Whether you volunteered, attended the dinner, sponsored the event, or bid on silent and live auction items, we want to thank you! Your support will enable us to grow and sustain our educational programs in the coming year.
Join us Saturday, September 24th for live music by Kittiwake, a delicious meal of locally-sourced food prepared by chef Jameson Kapec, a great selection of silent auction items, and an entertaining live auction!
Doors open at 4:30pm – Dinner Begins at 5pm – Live Auction 7pm
Dinner Tickets Available online, at Gulliver’s Books, If Only-A Fine Store, or by calling Calypso at 451-0691
Visit us this Friday from 4-8pm to celebrate the arts at Calypso! Come meet our friendly Shetlands, learn how we process their beautiful fleece to create wool goods, watch blacksmithing demos, and taste some bread from our wood-fired oven! We will also have hands-on natural dyeing, wet felting, and other creative activities for every age.
See you there!
The school gardens are pumping out lots of fresh veggies these days! Stop by our weekly farm stands to pick up peas, squash, kohlrabi, carrots, lettuce, and more! These veggies were planted, tended, and harvested with the help of students at the schools and our summer LEAF Campers.
