Visit us this Friday from 4-8pm to celebrate the arts at Calypso! Come meet our friendly Shetlands, learn how we process their beautiful fleece to create wool goods, watch blacksmithing demos, and taste some bread from our wood-fired oven! We will also have hands-on natural dyeing, wet felting, and other creative activities for every age.
See you there!
The school gardens are pumping out lots of fresh veggies these days! Stop by our weekly farm stands to pick up peas, squash, kohlrabi, carrots, lettuce, and more! These veggies were planted, tended, and harvested with the help of students at the schools and our summer LEAF Campers.

April 18, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM
Come on out to the farm for an introduction and orientation to Calypso’s field trips! Once trained, docents can lead school groups through learning stations like farm animals, garden, honeybees, and forest. Meet-and-greet at 11:00 AM at the the resource center (we’ll provide snacks!) and then join in some hands-on learning until 1:00 PM. Bring boots, it can be muddy. Docents receive free meals at the farm on days they volunteer, and our deep gratitude for making the nature connection possible for hundreds of kids.
