Calypso Farm Camp is a week-long immersion in farm life at Calypso! Campers become completely at home on the farm. Alongside experienced and talented camp counselors, campers explore the fields and surrounding forest, help with farm chores, get to know the farm animals, carry out science experiments, work on creative projects and harvest, cook and eat produce from the farm together. Group sizes are small so that each child can have the space and personalized attention to really enjoy the farm for the week!
Part of Calypso’s School Garden Initiative since 2014, LEAF (Learning Ecology and Alaskan Farming) Camps are week-long adventures in school gardens for youth ages 5-11. Five fun-packed days will engage campers in a wide range of activities: tasting and cooking the garden veggies, organic gardening projects, exploring art and science in the garden, and much more!
